Level 2
Competitive REL — policy & tournament judge
Level 2 is where you learn to judge Competitive REL events. Beyond deeper rules, you become fluent in the three tournament documents — the Magic Tournament Rules (MTR), the Infraction Procedure Guide (IPG), and the Comprehensive Rules — and you learn to identify infractions, apply the correct penalty, and fix the game state consistently.
Before this level: A firm grasp of everything in Level 1: turn structure, the stack, priority, combat, state-based actions, and the golden rules.
